N.E.R.D, the band helmed by Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley, celebrated their triumphant return to music in 2017 at the second annual ComplexCon. Seizing the moment, Pharrell and adidas opted to officially release the N.E.R.D x adidas NMD Hu Trail at the festival and exhibition. The pair is anchored by a tonal black Primeknit upper featuring the words “Y.O.U.” and “N.E.R.D.” down each shoe in reflective silver lettering. The group’s Shepard Fairey-designed brain logo sports a matching look on the heel tab, while the sole features ridges suitable for rigorous outdoor wear.
